Reputation Management Rule #1 – SHUTUP!
Rule #1 of Reputation Management is to SHUT UP and calm down before you post any response to negative criticism.
If you break this rule you run the risk in making international headlines like the folks at Amy’s Baking Company in Scottsdale Arizona.
This video is is a preview for the recently aired Kitchen Nightmares TV show that started this social media blitzkrieg against Amy’s restaurant. However Amy’s disrespectful replies to comments just kept feeding the fire!
However this pales in comparison to the latest meltdown going on right now across all of Amy’s Baking Company’s social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Yelp and even their Google Plus page for their business.
I’m going to skip posting any screen shots from Facebook right now as they are too vile, however here are some G-Rated comments from some of the other sites.

As having a lot of experience managing and cleaning up reputation management nightmares I can honestly say that Amy is NOT a client that I would ever want to work with, nor could she ever afford any professional service to clean up the mess she has made!
