Competitive Analysis – SEO Recon
Competitive Analysis in Internet Marketing is an assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of your current and potential competitors which then will enable you to develop your offensive and defensive strategies.
Tonight, SEO Training SW hosted a webinar with Mike, which we recorded and have available at the end of this post that you can watch.
Review of SEO Scout
Mike kicked his presentation with an overview of SEO Scout, a program that will help you identify keyword phrases and terms to improve your NLP score (Nero Linguistics Processing or sometimes referred to as Latent Symmetric Indexing)
Three of the major benefits of using SEO Scout are;
1 – To boost the relevance of your articles and website
2 – To increase your quality score with PPC, thus lowering your ad spend
3 – And to increase your article(s) relevance for better AdSense matching to increase your profits
Review of SEO Recon
One of the major benefits of using SEO Recon is to minimizing your trial and error and to enable you to start focusing on SEO factors that are particular to your niche.
Mike discussed one recent client of his that had been on the number one page of Google, but had dropped to the second page. Prior to contacting him the client tweaked a number of SEO factors for over a year that had no effect in improving their ranking
This client finally reached out to Mike and he ran a report which showed the client exactly what areas that they needed to focus on and within months they not only returned to page one status, but at an even higher ranking then they did before.
If improving your website’s ranking is important to you, then I would strongly recommend that you watch Mike’s one hour presentation.
