Are You Pinging – Part II

Last night I published an article on why it is important to Ping your new pages and I thought it would be fun to show you the actual results of this important tip.

As I use the Pingler Plugin on this site the moment I hit the “Publish” button in my WordPress admin panel the page was published and Pingler sent a notification (PING) about my new post and a few hours later it began showing up in Google’s SERPS (Search Engine Results Pages) for the search term “How to Ping Your Website”

Now 24 hours later that post is ranked #1 in blogs for that term:

In checking the last cache date/time for this post I see that Google last crawled this page 11 hours after I posted it:

Another really cool feature of Pingler is that they also have a  plug in that you can add to FireFox so when you’re on a webpage that you would like to PING, all you do is press their Button, how simple is that?
